Folding Stars.

Jobs, work, careers, life, romance and relationships... pick a topic.
All I can say is that I am folding stars. Lots and lots of stars.
...could be worse, could be lots worse. Doesn't make it any better right now, but I know... it could be worse.

And so I just keep folding stars.

Lots and lots of little tiny stars.

I'm in Love!

I am in love, with Martinez Valero's "Whisper". It all started with the shoe below, and the gentleman at Nordstrom brought out 4 boxes... made me nervous, they usually only do that when they can't find the right size or color in the shoe you originally asked for. (Turns out the shoe I originally asked for didn't fit the arch of my foot)

Anyhoo, he pulled out the BCBGirls "Titta" and then said "But first, I really think this shoe fits you. It's not even on display yet, but matches the dresses in the windows."

I put it on and felt like I'd stepped on to a cloud! Never have I put a heel on that felt so comfortable, and it has just enough of a peep toe to show off my pretty new pedicure. *grin*

Sadly, due to a dye-from-a-box mishap that needed to be corrected by my fave colorist at Gene Juarez, I could not afford the "Whisper", the new love of my life. But now I have a goal!

And this is the cute little paton that started it all... It was actually in a sparkling brownish-pink color, the color of my parents' VW Bug, actually...

I've actually owned this shoe before, in a creme color with black detailing... I took it back because the buckle didn't fit my arch, for some reason I thought this season's release might be different enough to actually fit. Sadly, no, but not so sad.

And because I can, I'm going to post some more shoes I've been longing to buy! *sigh* oh, for the love of shoes!!! (and so many more to come!)

The Little Monk

Ok- So, a few of these blogs that I will be posting are old, I'm re-posting them from my VIRB blog because I think they need to be shared... The insipiration comes from the book "The Little Monk", and this is a copy-paste of the first blog. I'll probably continue to post them all under one blogger site- http://myinspirationalstories.blogspot.com/

I really feel like I can identify with the author on this one- the love of her life left her for the church... This is a collection of her aphorisms that I plan on using to inspire musings to share with you all and help me process and cope with the curve balls that life's throwing lately. Please, feel free to comment and contribute!
