Okay, so maybe the things aren't so strange, so much as they are unlikely?
1- I don't wanna jinx anything just yet, so I'm not tellin'. ☺
2- I found a diet/work out schedule that is really working for me. 36 hours in and I'm already down 1.5lbs!
3- No OT at work has left me with quite a bit of extra time. Not so sure what to do with it just yet!!!
4- I am working on getting my MAC-Pro card, which will get me a MAC discount of either 30% or 40%, depending on how I am categorized. This means that I had to actually make business cards for myself as an independent make up artist. FUN! My 'company' name is Painted Beauty and I really like where I'm taking it.... who knows, maybe some new opportunities will arise!
So.... what's got me most excited is the "1" that I'm not talking about just yet. *big cheesy grin* It's exciting though, with how things are going so far. April 8th is a significant date to keep in mind, send me all the positive energy you can spare!
I haven't been incredibly inspired to write a lot lately, not publicly. I've been writing in my journal some, but not even a lot there. Sorry, to any of you who might be regular readers, not-so-regular posts happening right now.
Okay. Maybe when I get home tonight I'll post the image for Painted Beauty... time to go back to work!

Rarr... damper on the day: my heel. I have been having problems for the last few weeks, and it's not really getting any better- time to go to the doctor, but I've been putting it off. I was supposed to go dancing tonight, something I haven't done in a LONG time. Unfortunately, I can hardly walk. For a while I thought that it was maybe plantar fasciitis, but the pain starts at my arch and burns up my leg, and doesn't feel better or worse if I'm moving or sitting still, morning, noon, or night. *heavy sigh* I hate going to the doctor, especially for stupid injuries.
