I wonder how long it will take before my body is done hurting!?! Last night I fell asleep on the couch, and when my phone rang I rolled over to answer, bending my knee for leverage, cringing in pain, and ended up launching my phone across the living room! If it wasn't so darned painful, I probably would have laughed - when I say launched, I mean flew across the room and then slid on the hard wood floors. *sigh* Alas, I'm more mobile than I was, but I'm afraid I have a long way to go.
After my fiasco with the flying phone last night, I decided to sleep in, letting myself slowly wake up... I checked my email, and got the most wonderful message from Nordstrom about their HUGE shoe sale!!! I wonder if/when I will be able to purchase some of those shoes that are on clearance at 40% off but still total more than $150 with tax? We'll talk about those later- perhaps tomorrow?
I wonder if people realize how wonderful everyday activities and events are? I know I've mentioned it before, but I'm going to talk about it again. I absolutely love the sounds of the city as it wakes up! The seagulls start their cries, busses start their regular routes, and cars hum as they fly by my apartment. It really makes me miss walking to the lightrail, but I close my eyes and imagine the water meeting the skyline as the sun rises. Walking outside, I took a deep breath this morning; Today, it smells like baseball season. *grin*

I wonder if the designer was inspired by a beloved rubber ducky...
