"Miss? If you were yogurt, would you be fruit at the bottom, or stirred?" -Unknown
I love this quote. It is oddly appropriate in so many situations! It describes how I'm feeling in my head quite accurately, courtesy of the lingering grossness that is draining from this stupid cold.
Things are going really well right now! I am more and more surprised by how this is happening, and am working really hard to trust that it's okay. I'm even able to eat yogurt again and it doesn't make me sick! Do you know how excited that makes me? I ♥ yogurt! And my hair's growing nice and healthy again after years of being so thin- stupid vitamin deficiency, and I aced my test at work today! It's getting closer and closer to me buying a mini cooper. *giggle*grin* I got to test drive one today... while I've spent more hours than I can think of in Adri's Mini, she never let me drive it. At the dealership, the sales rep they called over ended up being my friend Aaron from PLU- it was a pleasant surprise and so much fun to catch up!
I'm still trying to get things out of boxes, or get into rooms so I can get things out of boxes... it'll be much easier to do that now that I'm not passing out as soon as I walk in the door. I started swimming again before I got sick, and will probably hit the gym tomorrow. My knee is being very cooperative and allowing me to dance, and over all, things are good!
I just saw that round trip flights to San Francisco are only $98 right now... I think a weekend trip is in order... SOON. The last time I went I loved it, but was limited because my knee kept me from walking too far, not to mention I was staying in the WRONG SIDE OF TOWN! Anyone else up for a weekend getaway?
Now, tonight, the only question left is "What to cook for dinner?"
