Change is in the Air...

It has been for the last few months.... as some of you may know, I am happy and in love!  It's been a bit of a whirlwind romance, and last week we got an apt together!!! 

The move has been slow, more like moving into the dorms in college, car loads from my parents' house to the apt, rather than packing everything in boxes and moving it all at once.  The only bad part about this is that I had to make the choice to leave Stanley with my parents until JJ and I have saved enough money to buy a house, which we're working on, but our lease is for 12 months.  That's 365 mornings where I won't be waking up or coming home to my puppy.  *heavy sigh* 

Luckily, JJ loves Stanley too, and we try to go see him every day. 

The first room we got completely decorated wasn't either one of the bedrooms, or the living room, or dining room... it was the master bath.  LOL.  It was!  And you know what?  Without knowing it, JJ picked out the exact same bathroom set that I had in my old house, only I had chosen purple & he chose black... *giggle*grin*  Great minds think alike!  The next room we put together was - not the bedrooms, not the dining room, kind of the living room, but really, the kitchen!  It's SUUUUUUPER cute too.... I have a picture of the cooking area, you bet your buttons I'm gonna add it.... see?!

So, what's next?  The rest of the living room.  And more pictures for you.  We're still on the hunt for a metal bed frame and/or headboard, and this coming weekend we're going to look at daybeds for the extra bed room, aptly dubbed "the Fun Room"... (just wait till you see the pillows we found!) 

I will try to keep you posted, for sure.... Part of my lenten promise this year is to take photos of something I'm grateful for & share it every day.  I'll probably duplicated posts between this blog and my inspirational blog, since this one is private but I want to share both photos & food for thought with you as well.
