I feel like I should have something to say, but I'm not sure that I have anything specific to say, so I'll just give you a brief update...
I've been working two jobs, and that's been great. I'm still living at home, my parents and I have a pretty solid relationship, and it's allowing me to pay them back & pay down some of my bills (like student loans and my car payment!) and that's going pretty well.
I haven't dated much at all, and it's been almost a year since JJ and I broke up. Being busy most of the time has really helped keep me from missing the good times, and seeing my friends & family in their relationships most definitely reinforces my decision and helps me to forget the bad times. I really miss his daughter, and I pray for her every day, hoping that she hears my voice in her head, that those seven long-but-short months help her to strive for a better life!
My health is finally getting better-ish??? My achilles is healing from the tear, my knees seem to be holding up, and my allergies are slowly starting to wind down a bit. I'm looking forward to getting back into the gym, and cannot wait to be at full health to start the 12 week workout challenge again and hopefully walk-jog a few more 5k's in the near future!
It's baseball season, and I LOVE baseball! I'm going to go to lots of games this year, both Tacoma Rainiers & Seattle Mariners... if anybody wants to tag along, just let me know!
I'm singing at church again - St Barbara's, in Black Diamond. It's nothing like I thought I wanted, but it's exactly where God is calling me to be, and I enjoy it. I will be splitting my Sunday mornings for the next few months between church and watching Marina's girls, which I really look forward to. They are growing so fast, and having a regular date to see the Juarez family will be good!
Nothing profound, nothing too exciting, just life.... and I'm okay with that.
